The report has been prepared in accordance with the international non-financial reporting standard GRI Standards 2021 (Global Reporting Initiative) and covers the most important environmental, social and corporate governance issues.
For the first time, the company has also calculated its emissions in Scopes 1, 2 and 3. The creation of the report was accompanied by the creation of a matrix of relevant topics among which climate change, labour issues, innovative industry and corporate governance were identified as the most important.
“I am delighted that we are able to present the first sustainability report of a company that has sustainability at its heart and core. Respect Energy is a pioneer of the energy transition in Poland – we are helping thousands of companies to move to the renewable, green side. From the very beginning of the company’s existence, we have set ourselves ambitious goals related to creating a better future for our planet – our business model is geared towards counteracting climate change, and our offer supports the implementation of the global goal set by the Paris Agreement, which is limiting the increase in the Earth’s temperature.” – says Sebastian Jabłoński, Chairman of the Board of the Respect Energy Holding Group.
The Opening Report is the first material summarising Respect Energy’s ESG activities, further reports will be published in annual cycles.
